Ive tried lots of audiobook players, and Bookmobile is easily the best one. Fantastic!

I been using the app for my months. It works every time. The bookmarks are a little unusual, but they work every time. Its a sturdy, useful program.

I got this app for audiobooks and it works great. It has a simple, intuitive interface and every feature I need. I would recommend the app for this. I havent tried the podcast feature yet (I currently use Casts) but it is a nice bonus. Update 6/16 Ive continued using this app for audiobooks and it is my go to app. I even prefer it to the audible app. Ive had no issues - crashing or playback - with this app.

A year and a half later app still does not resume playing properly, backtracking anywhere from minutes to hours. And the developer still does not give a flying hibiscus. The authors attitude toward the customer is summarized on his website: "if you post a 1-star review, and then ask for support, you will not get a response."

Dont want one star reviews? Then dont blame your apps inadequacies on IOS. Write a better app!

Great app especially for listening to podcasts while driving

This is by far the best audiobook/podcast app out there - way better than the standard music app - and still better than audible, etc. It has different "modes" of playing/controlling books, which serve different purposes. The most useful mode for me is the driving mode, which has large, simple, and clear buttons/controls which you can interact with while doing something like driving (especially if you have a mount for your phone). The methods of importing books are numerous. You can directly import files over iTunes data sync, over wifi with a browser, or the Internet. Or you can import them from the native audiobook app, and it still plays even though its DRM protected. Ive only had the app for about 2 months, and theres been like 3 or more updates to the app so far - which means the developers are still working to fix bugs and improve it. I almost never write reviews, but this app definitely deserves one - developers should be rewarded for making such quality applications. Good work guys!

I have no idea why I spent money on this app. The whole point of an audiobook app is so that it will save your place and you can come back to exactly where you left off. Unfortunately this app over and over loses my place in the audiobook so that I have to scan through the entire thing to try and find my place again. There are better apps to choose from.

Thank you for writing this app! It was just what I was looking for to bookmark chapters in my audio textbook. I give it 5 stars...I do have some suggestions for the next version...I think a slider would be convenient when trying to find just the right spot for a bookmark. Also, the ability to manually edit the time stamp would be helpful too.

The app should: - support cloud storage like iCloud/Dropbox - have more robust content management - allow select multiple files for deleting

Easy to use, nice interface

I have been surprised at how few player apps give adequate functionality. Good navigation and qeueing features are rare, and they dont save your place. I had one that was good that I lost when I upgraded my iOS. Was so pleased to find this one. Great navigation features, saves your place, and also nice to look at. Bravo! Please dont disappear on me as well...

Ive tried many audiobook players, all have always disappointed me. This app is wonderful, love the auto bookmarks. Great controls and never have to worry about losing my place. It works great, everything Ive wanted out of a audiobook player!

This is a great app for audiobooks & podcasts

This audiobook player has everything I want in a player. The features I like best is the ability to change the audio playback speed, I can add an image cover, the ease in adding audio MP3 files, and the large five seconds rewind or fast forward buttons. Ive tried many different audiobook players but each was missing either one feature I wanted or another. This is the only perfect audiobook player app Ive found so far. The only thing is its not free but I appreciate that they give 60 days to try the app for free, more app developers need to do this,try before you buy is great. I can see now that I will pay after my trial period ends because this is a great app, just what I need and want.

I dont know what the other reviewers are talking about. This thing is buggy on its best day and outright useless on its worse. Dont bother!

Given that iBooks is always glitchy for me, and I was tired of using two apps (also audible) for my audiobooks, I wanted to consolidate them all. Particularly like the apps interface and the fact that you can switch to driving mode. Better then both audible or iBooks apps IMO.

I have an iPod 4g which cant update to the newer versions of a lot of apps. The older version of this app works great, which Im grateful for, since I listen to audiobooks when I cant sleep at night. Whats equally good about this app is when I have had a couple of issues with it, their tech support responds quickly & has been spot on in their answers. I have a newer iPad & iPhone which work beautifully with bookmobile as well.

After painfully loading up an audiobook, it says I have to buy the app. Lame.
